VOLA Showrooms

Products in a minimalistic spotlight

LINK Arkitektur have created a conceptual design solution for VOLA showrooms and subsequently designed a number of showrooms for VOLA in cities across the world: Amsterdam, Copenhagen, London, Vienna, Shanghai, Munich and Brussels. All of them are individually furnished according to the urban space in the specific city – and all of them are leases in existing buildings.

Architecturally, we have tied the experience of the VOLA products together using simple display furniture, so the presentation appears homogeneous and in line with the minimalism of VOLA design.

A clear continuous line in the decor has been created with a central square as a focal point for the activities of the individual showrooms. The choice of colours and materials reflects the characteristic VOLA form language, and its simplicity is rendered powerful by the removal of interfering elements, making space for the products themselves.

The lighting consists of a number of round luminaires of various sizes arranged in a random pattern in the ceiling. The circular carvings refer to the circle in VOLA’s design DNA.
