Ophelia’s Pier

The new residential quarter of Ophelia’s Pier at Oceanhamnen – the waterfront in Helsingborg – has been designed for social gatherings and a lively environment for its residents. 

The site consists of nine buildings of four to six storeys which are located around a common courtyard and include 110 homes as well as shops at street level.

The whole neighbourhood breathes social sustainability with green courtyards and active roofs. A great courtyard provides space for both playing and socialising. Roof terraces have been designed with green areas and areas for cultivation, glazed conservatories and small private gardens. Here, residents can spend time growing vegetables and enjoying the view.
